NYC Soapmaking Classes

All of our hands-on New York City Soap Making classes and cosmetic making courses are taught on the Upper West Side of Manhattan by Marla Bosworth, CEO and founder of Back Porch Soap Company. She brings more than 13 years experience in the handmade bath and body industry as well as decades of marketing, market research and retail expertise to share in each workshop.

Why evening soap making and natural skincare classes? We find that many of our students work or attend school during the day, and prefer evening classes that are convenient to their schedule. If you are visiting NYC from out-of-state or country, take advantage of your free daytime hours to explore the city or network with the many fabulous businesses in and around the Big Apple.

Please Note: Due to my travel from Boston, accommodations, workshop space rental and scheduling logistics, I am unable to offer refunds or transfer class credit should you be unable to make your NYC soapmaking, natural skincare or business class(es). If classes are canceled due to weather or any unforeseen reasons, your money will be refunded in its entirety within five business days or you can rebook another class.
