Explore the world of scent and discover how individual fragrance notes combine to create something extraordinary. Whether you are drawn to the warmth of cedarwood, the freshness of mountain botanicals, or the delicate beauty of florals, you will have the opportunity to explore a beautiful collection of fragrance ingredients and create a signature perfume that reflects your own personality and style.
Your instructor, Marla Bosworth, is a perfumer and aromatherapist with 30 years of experience and a deep passion for the art of fragrance. With her guidance, you will learn about fragrance families, scent composition, the art of blending, and how to balance and layer different aromas to create a harmonious fragrance.
Throughout the workshop, you will experiment with individual fragrance notes and accords, discovering how different ingredients interact and evolve. You will learn to build a fragrance from the ground up, explore the relationship between top, heart, and base notes, and develop a scent that is uniquely yours.
At the heart of Field Notes is the inspiration of the Tetons. You may find yourself drawn to the earthy character of mountain forests, the delicate fragrance of alpine wildflowers, or the warmth of a woodsy scent reminiscent of a mountain lodge. There is no single formula to follow. Your fragrance is an expression of your own creative instincts and the scents that speak to you.
At the end of the experience, you will take home your own bespoke perfume in a beautiful 30 ml bottle, along with a deeper appreciation for the art of perfumery and the creative process behind a truly personal fragrance.

Course Fee: $98 per person.
Your fee includes the perfume blending workshop, all materials, fragrance ingredients, supplies, your custom 30 ml perfume, and a valuable handout with formulation tips, instructions, and fragrance blending guidance.
Class Location: Back Porch Studios, Hwy 89 (between Cowboy Coffee and Whole Foods) Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Exact location will be emailed to attendees.
