This exciting new, online class will teach you how to make your own natural and effective beauty products for the face: facial serums, gels and masks. In this class students will learn how to formulate for different skin types by incorporating microbiome-friendly ingredients including ceramides, peptides, vitamin C, natural AHAs and BHAs, carrier oils, hyaluronic acid and much more.
We will be focusing on products that make the skin look healthy and more illuminated, how to renew and refine the look of skin including hydration, radiance, controlling oiliness, clearing pores and balancing discoloration as well as fighting dullness and other beauty concerns.

Serum types discussed will include gel, oil and emulsion. Applications include antioxidant serums, hydrating serums, acne fighting serums and anti-aging. Marla will how to tweak recipes, which actives are best to use in facial products, which preservatives work best for facial products, adjusting pH, and more. Students will receive a valuable handout with formulas, supplier list, ingredient details and formulation theory.
Foundations of Making Serums, Oils and Masks: Recorded overview of the process, as well as a list of ingredients needed.
