Cold Process Soapmaking Intensive - August 10

Only 4 spaces available!

This is a 2.5-hour, hands-on, soapmaking workshop taught by master soapmaker, Marla Bosworth. In this small, intimate class of only four students, you will learn how to use plants and other organic, natural ingredients to make soap from scratch using the cold process method. As a class we will make a batch of soap. Each student will take home their own container (which equates to six to eight bars when cut).

Students will receive hands-on experience, an information-packed class handout with instructions, recipes and valuable supplier list and of course get to take home a custom batch.

What we will cover:

How to work with lye safely (you'll get hands-on experience of handling lye), how to formulate a great soap recipe, where to buy supplies and everything "cold process" that you want to know!
