This is a 3-hour, hands-on workshop taught by master soapmaker, Marla Bosworth. In this small, intimate class of only 10 students, you will learn how to make cold process soap from scratch using plant-based ingredients.
Each student will make their own batch of soap by using the class recipe, then adding their choicee of color, botanicals and scent.
Students will receive hands-on experience, an information-packed class handout with instructions, recipes and valuable supplier list and of course get to take home their very own custom batch (about 8 bars of soap). Perfect for gift giving!
What we will cover:
How to work with lye safely (you'll get hands-on experience of handling lye), how to formulate a great soap recipe, where to buy supplies and everything "cold process" that you want to know!
