New! Shampoos & Haircare Treatments - Jan. 24

Brand new class! Haircare products got you down? From dry, unmanageable locks to dull, damaged hair, this class will save you money on expensive, ineffective haircare products and point you in the right direction of effective, natural ingredients to make your own. Students will learn to effectively make their own products focusing on hair health, damage repair and targeted treatments.

Learn to make your very own natural haircare products in an educational, evening workshop with haircare formulator, Marla Bosworth. Marla has been making plant-based haircare products for 24 years. Students will learn formulation recipes and tips for making amazing, natural haircare products suitable for different hair type. This class is for beginner through advanced. There is no prerequisite nor prior experience required.

Marla brings these tried and true salon-qualty formulas to you in simple explanation and she discusses in detail formulation guidelines. In this hands-on class we will discuss theory and shampoo and conditioner formulation for various hair types. We'll discuss the difference between Asian, African American, Hispanic and Caucasian hair. Next, we’ll discuss the theory of making shampoos and conditioners. Then we’ll formulate hair products:

Clarifying Shampoo (Sulfate-Free)
