Natural Perfume Making Class - January 19

Learn to create your own perfume alongside an expert perfumer in this relaxing class. Each attendee will create their own blend to take home in a beautiful, roll-on glass perfume bottle.

Students will explore creating intention blends, encoding memories of feelings, places or people. In our most recent workshop, students chose to commemorate a loved one, another chose to replicate the feeling of hiking in a forest, and another student created a blend to help inspire creativity, and much more. Why and what you blend in this class is completely up to you!

What perfume and scents evoke in each of us is truly amazing. Studies show that when presented with perfumes that are personally reminiscent for us, we have more positive emotions, increased moods of comfort and happiness as well as a decrease in anxiety. Scientists believe that scent, memory and emotion are inseparably linked.

Marla will share what she's learned during her years of blending essential oils and incorporating them into soaps and beauty products. Then she will guide you through your very own, custom, essential oil blending creation in class. Custom, natural fragrance blends can increase sales for your products. If customers fall in love with your essential oil blends it will bring them back to you for more. We know they can purchase body butters, candles or soaps from a plethora of other companies, but if we have a scent blend that is unique and appealing, challenging to replicate or even energetically encoded, customers will navigate toward buying it.

This class is intended for essential oil enthusiasts, soapmakers, candlemakers, indie beauty entrepreneurs, and anyone interested in creating their own fragrance. No prior experience is needed.

Marla creates highly experiential workshops - a holistic perspective of learning by transforming new information. If you've ever attended any of her classes you know the energy she creates is positive, supportive, educational and fun.
