With so many products on the market these days it’s challenging to know which ingredients work to reverse aging on our delicate facial skin. It also costs hundreds of dollars to purchase effective skin-lightening, toning and anti-wrinkle products. This class is structured and taught for new and experienced students in regards to formulating skincare. A wide range of participants will benefit from attending: consumers, soap makers, massage therapists, esthetician, spa owners and anyone in the skincare or cosmetics industry. Whether you're tired of spending money on anti-aging products and ready to formulate your own ~ or formulate your own to sell, this class will meet your needs.
In this class students will learn which raw materials work best for various skin types, ways to re-balance the skin, and in-depth plant oil specifications which will help you formulate your own products.
Students will also learn labeling requirements of cosmetics, and legalese of making claims on their product packaging.
In this class students will learn to formulate and take home the following products:
1 Gentle Exfoliator
1 Eye Cream Treatment
1 Facial Cleanser
1 Facial Serum
This is a hands-on class. If you have an existing bath and body business, you'll love how these products boast great markups. You can cross-sell these with the rest of your line to your customers. We will discuss how to make product for various skin types, such as oily, dry and/or combination.
This class is open to beginner through advanced. Students will receive a class handout that includes instructions, recipes and a valuable list of my favorite places to buy supplies and equipment.
