This is a brand new workshop led by visiting guest instructor, Holly Port!

Do you know that liquid soaps outsell bar soaps? Do you also know that few indie beauty formulators sell liquid soap in their line of products? Many soapmakers think that they will lose bar soap sales to liquid soap sales. The opposite is true! You will attract new buyers who prefer liquid soap over bar soap, and also upsell to some of your current customers.

Here are more reasons to love making liquid soaps:

•Considered “cleaner” than bar soaps.
•Customer base who prefers liquid washes.
•Fast time to market/low labor.
•Fewer indie competitors than bar soap.
•Consumers will pay more per oz. than bar soap.
•Higher margins, lower labor than bar soap.
•Lower pH range.
•Upsell hand wash with matching lotions/ensemble.
•Strong brand visibility in kitchen and bath.
This is a hands-on workshop taught by well-known indie beauty expert, Holly Port from Lotion Bar Cafe (see bio below). Holly will show you how to make liquid soap for your kitchen and bath.
